Family and Friends Weekend

As always, Family & Friends Weekend was great fun for our students and their families! F&F is an annual event at Bachman Academy for the parents, family and friends of our students. Through this event, they have a rare opportunity to experience a bit of what their child experiences daily at Bachman Academy, as well as giving them time to get to know one another, and most important, giving them time to spend with their children.

This year there was a great line up of events, including:

• Videos of student dramatic performances from reading and English classes, and other student skits performed live.
• An abbreviated class schedule for the parents to have a run-through of their child’s academic day.
• A “parents only” luncheon to give parents time to get to know one another.
• A Parent Association meeting
• A Young Marines Parade
• A demonstration by the Equestrian Drill Team
• An Automotive Demonstration and tire-changing contest
• Parent/teacher conferences
• And a fantastic Wish List silent auction! Our fantastic parents raised nearly $8,000 for items on our Wish List!
